Bolin’s new Dante AV Ultra PTZ cameras, the D412 and D220, are claimed to be the world’s first Dante AV-native PTZ cameras. They can deliver high-quality video and audio over a standard 1Gbps network with “uncompromised video quality, extremely low latency, and perfect video and audio synchronisation”.
The D412 provides high-quality images up to 4K60Hz (the D220 is HD), with quiet and smooth pan, tilt and zoom capability. It is compatible with the entire Dante ecosystem of audio devices, working seamlessly with tools such as Audinate’s Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager.
Also new is Bolin’s D20 Series Dante AV Ultra transceiver, which can be an encoder or decoder. The single-channel networked AV-over-IP transceiver is fully compatible with all Dante audio devices for HDMI sources up to 4K60Hz 4096×2160, with up to eight channels of audio and PTZ camera movement control via IP or IR pass-through. It provides AV streaming over a standard 1Gb network. D20S/D20H models configured as decoders can also output baseband video over HDMI or 12G-SDI.
Bolin also recently introduced a Dante AV-H camera. The software-based device offers lower cost and network bandwidth requirements with many of the core features of Dante AV, including compatibility with Dante Controller, up to eight channels of Dante audio, and interoperability with AV-over-IP products from multiple vendors.
