Seeking to link the worlds of professional audio and systems integration, the AudioForum@ISE conference will be taking place on 9 February, the day before the exhibition opens.

Organised by ISE media partner Connessioni, the full-day event will bring together a selection of audio experts to present and discuss audio optimisation in different sizes and types of venue. The conference is being produced to appeal to both professional audio designers and systems integrators.

This will be the second AudioForum event taking place at ISE and follows on from other successful AudioForum events staged in Europe and India.

Emphasis will be given to exploring the tools and techniques used for the design and installation of audio systems in the built environment, plus it will also focus on simulation software, measurement instruments and design tools.

Confirmed speakers include: Luigi Chelli, Powersoft, who will present his Sound School and ‘Signal Processing for Loudspeaker Performance Optimisation and Sound Reinforcement System Alignment’; Wolfgang Ahnert, AES fellow and AFMG member will present ‘The Trend of Simulation Measurement Tools in Acoustics for Sound Systems’; Ben Kok, acoustics consultant, will present ‘Acoustics From The Perspective of Sound Systems’ and Kees Neervoort will discuss ‘Practical Ways to Judge Sound Systems’.

The format for the day will allow for plenty of Q&A, sharing of ideas and networking.
