Atmospheric debut for digital audio platform

The Atmosphere digital audio platform is making its debut appearance at ISE, with AtlasIED’s system now approved for sale and use in Europe and the UK.

Launched in July 2020, Atmosphere introduces ‘touch-less’ control, artificial intelligence, and advanced automation features to the design and utilisation of digital audio systems in restaurants, bars, hotels, school campuses, HoW, retail establishments, and other commercial environments.

It features technology which “dramatically simplifies and streamlines” the configuration and installation without sacrificing modularity, scalability, or audio performance. The components comprising the platform, including DSPs, amplifiers, controllers, and ambient noise sensor, are designed to work seamlessly together to minimise training time and programming headaches for integrators and the learning curve for end-users.

John Ivey, president, AtlasIED, said: “Atmosphere represents a new era of digital audio for AtlasIED and the commercial AV industry and validates our dedication to developing products that make a difference through innovative technologies and simplification of configuration and installation. The culmination of more than 480 man-months dedicated to its design, engineering, and execution, Atmosphere offers systems integrators a digital AV solution like no other.”
