Apart’s Audiosystem8.8 makes life easier

Apart Audio will be highlighting its recently announced Audiosystem8.8 audio matrix at ISE 2015.

Although it can look quite simple, a small multi-zone installation is not always an easy or small job for the installer, who needs to install and connect numerous electronic devices (sources, amplifiers, wall panels and so on) in order to provide the perfect audio solution for his customer. That’s what Apart Audio believes and why the company is highlighting its recently announced Audiosystem8.8 at ISE 2015 as it is designed to be appropriate for a broad range of small or medium-sized applications with just one unit.

The Audiosystem8.8 audio matrix has eight speaker outputs (four stereo or eight mono zones) with each having a built-in 30W digital amplifier. It also has four additional line outputs, together with four FM radios built-in and four/eight stereo/mono line inputs. Out of the box, the Audiosystem8.8 is configured with four stereo inputs and four stereo output zones.

The installer/customer can, according to the company, easily access the integrated web server-based GUI to configure and/or control the audio system. The Audiosystem8.8 can be remote controlled via DIWAC wall panels, but also via any mobile device or computer that has a web browser installed.

Designed for retail, leisure, education, sports or corporate applications, the unit is equipped with an emergency mute contact to enable – in a shopping mall, for example – in-store audio to be overridden by an emergency announcement. The Audiosystem8.8 also has all call paging functionality and a party mode function. On the DIWAC wall panels, an ALL ON/OFF button can be selected to shut down or start the entire audio system.
