Anticipating 2015 technology trends

Among the announcements from Custom Home Europe’s stand this year are the debut of new solutions to help the industry leverage what the organisation believes will be the biggest anticipated trends of the year. Many of the brands are focused on products addressing the interest of future-proofing home theatres, it says, as 4K and Ultra HD adoption continues to ramp up and Dolby Atmos gains popularity.

Additionally, notes Custom Home Europe, helping people make the most of wireless connectivity and other ways to improve the experience of multimedia content are a big focus in 2015.

“We would like the attendees to take away from Custom Home Europe the scope of possibilities available to them for dedicated theatres, media rooms as well as whole house solutions whether it be electronics or furniture,” said Gabi Wolper, president of Fortress Seating.

Keith Jones, president of Jones design, adds to the vision for easily integrated products with intelligently designed systems by offering visiting integrators “an overview of building information modelling and what it means for our industry.”

Custom Home Europe’s presence at ISE this year gives visitors the opportunity to see live demonstrations of debuting technology, including DVDO’s iScan Mini video enhancement system and VRS ClearView adaptive 4K scaling engine, D-BOX’s new HEMC home motion controller and Future Ready Solutions’ range of HDMI cables, connectors and accessories, among others.
