Aavara KVM over IP solution to be unveiled

Multi-room HDMI distribution applications will be among those to benefit from the Aavara PB7000 KVM over IP solution.

ISE 2014 will see Aavara introduce its new HDMI/USB 2.0 KVM over IP solution, PB7000, which features full HD HDMI video, multichannel audio, high speed USB and IR/RS-232 control signal broadcasting to multiple TVs, displays or projectors over an IP network.

According to Aavara, it is the ultimate solution for HDMI USB KVM and residential/commercial over Ethernet networks. It boasts unicast, broadcast and multicast HDMI, USB, RS-232 and IR Over Gigabit Ethernet; a VGA out on the receiver for a non-HDCP video pass-through; and video resolutions of up to 1080p full HD, 720p 3D, and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA).

There is an analogue audio in/out for an external active speaker, four high speed USB 2.0 ports on the receiver (with keyboard/mouse emulation), and a dip switch for up to 16 video channel multicasting. Furthermore, it features IR remote control video channel switching.

The PB7000 is designed for digital signage, HD KVM Over IP and residential multi-room HDMI distribution applications.
