4K makes a Sharp increase

Stand host Laura Diaz shows the Windows Collaborative Display’s connectivity

Sharp is unveiling three new 4K professional displays for digital signage: a 4K interactive Windows Collaboration Display, two new 4K interactive displays, and a second generation 8K monitor at this year’s ISE.

Speaking last night as staff were completing stand construction, senior product manager Christopher Parker told the ISE Daily: “The Windows Collaborative Display comes with a range of sensors which can detect, for example, the room temperature, and make meeting rooms more efficient by detecting whether a booked room is actually in use or can be released for others.”

Across three areas of the stand, Sharp and its partners are inviting visitors to experience how Sharp technology can transform the ways that people engage with information. A fourth area shows how the company is aiming to lead the way in Ultra HD.

Elsewhere on stand, Sharp demonstrates other products from the Sharp family, including an atmospheric water generator, which creates clean water from the air around us; business laptops from Toshiba; and a visitor management solution, which allows anyone with an appointment to check-in to the stand.

Stand: 12-E100
