Integrated Systems Europe 2018 opens its doors tomorrow to what will be the biggest and most exciting tradeshow in its 15-year history.
If you have not already made up your mind whether to attend, here are 10 good reasons why you should definitely make the trip to the RAI Amsterdam. And if you are coming, then make sure you don’t miss out on all that’s going on at the world’s largest AV and systems integration exhibition.
Biggest is Best: ISE 2018 will be the largest show in its history. Over 75,000 visitors are expected to attend the four day show and almost 1,300 leading international exhibitors will showcase the latest AV and systems integration technologies and solutions.
New Companies – New Hall: Over 280 exhibitors will be making their debut at the show. They will be featured in the show’s seven dedicated technology zones: Digital Signage, Audio and Live Events, Education, Smart Building, Unified Communications, Residential and XR. Compelling Conferences: There are nine conferences taking place before and during ISE 2018, covering a range of topics that includes: digital signage (DSS at ISE), virtual, augmented and mixed reality (XR Summit), pro audio (AudioForum), design thinking (TIDE), venue integration (Sports Venue and Fan Engagement Summit), smart building (Smart Building Summit), AV in enterprise and AV in higher education (AVIXA) and night-time ‘spectaculars’ in theme parks (blooloopLIVE at ISE). Leading experts and thought leaders participate in all conferences.
Professional Development: ISE co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA have curated their largest ever European professional development programme for this year’s show. These are presented in a variety of workshops, presentations, conferences, training and short-form ‘snapshot’ sessions delivered on their stands. In addition, the ISE Show Floor Theatres offer over 150, 30-minute presentations, focussing on Commercial, Unified Communications and Smart Building technologies and solutions.
Off Site: The World Masters of Projection Mapping competition is taking place during ISE 2018. Judging takes place on the Thursday in central Amsterdam and the awards showcase takes place at the RAI Amsterdam on Friday. Visitors can take a 90-minute boat trip on Wednesday and Thursday from the RAI Harbour to view a unique merger of artistic creativity and technological innovation. ISE is also hosting three Tech Tours during the show to, ‘The Canon of the Netherlands’, the ‘Amsterdam ArenA’ and ‘This is Holland’. On the Tuesday evening the 12th edition of the InAVation Awards take place at the historic Gashouder Westergasfabriek venue as it honours ‘excellence in AV.’
Show Day Agenda: This year’s ISE offers a packed and compelling agenda for all visitors. This includes: Opening Reception, Opening Address – Professor Carlo Ratti, Smart Building and Digital Signage Guided Tours, Stand Design Awards, Special Interest Group Tours, Win a Drone, Future AV Professionals Programme, Exhibitor Training and Audio Demo Rooms.
Most Media: Over 600 media professionals will attend ISE 2018 from print, broadcast and digital brands. This guarantees that exhibitors continue to use ISE as a launch pad for their new products and services with the most senior product and marketing personnel in attendance. Plus, ISE features its own Daily Newspaper and ‘on demand’ digital news channel, ISEshow.TV, produced by NewBay Media and IML respectively.
