Europalco, the largest provider of AV solutions for events and shows in Southern Europe, has announced a significant expansion of its facilities. The acquisition of an adjacent 18,000sqm land increases Europalco’s total operational area to 42,000sqm, nearly doubling the current space and extending the perimeter to almost 1km.
Pedro Magalhães, CEO of Europalco, said: “This major step reflects our continued commitment to growth and innovation. The expansion will allow us to double the capacity of our main warehouse from 4,000sqm to 8,000sqm, creating 12,000sqm of storage space. This increase will significantly optimise logistics, improve production capacity, and further modernise and streamline our facilities.”
The development is part of Europalco’s aggressive growth strategy. Recently Europalco also incorporated Rise, the newest member of its portfolio, as well as NEW Audiovisuais and AV Tech. The company says these strategic investments highlighted its commitment to increasing its scale and geographic reach.
Also in 2023, Europalco forged a partnership with private-equity company Vallis Capital Partners to enable regional and business expansion.
