Digital Signage Expo to make 2022 return

The now Questex-owned Digital Signage Expo is set to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center between 21 and 23 March 2022

The Digital Signage Expo (DSE), which was acquired by Questex earlier this year, is to return as an in-person event on 21 to 23 March 2022, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show will run concurrently with the Bar & Restaurant Expo, formerly the Nightclub & Bar Show.

Questex now owns the Digital Signage ExpoAs reported by Future’s AV Network, Brad Gleeson, co-founder and managing partner of TargetPath, will be helping to relaunch the Digital Signage Expo 2022 event. Gleeson is a veteran of the technology-based business start-up world who has worked on Digital Signage Magazine, and other initiatives that helped build the foundation of the digital signage industry.

Marian Sandberg, VP and market leader, DSE, explained, “Our research shows that the industry strongly desires an event that brings digital signage suppliers and solution providers together with designers, buyers, and stakeholders in a wide range of adjacent and vertical markets.

“Our goal is to design an event that becomes the foundation for a digital community platform and calendar of events that encompass the interests and goals of a broad community interested in how digital media technology can enhance lives and experiences in the physical world.”

Installation reported back in April that the show was due to return after Questex, owned by MidOcean Partners, acquired the rights to DSE’s live and digital assets. The Expo had been closed in September 2020 after the organiser, 2020 Exponation, filed for bankruptcy having twice postponed the Vegas show from its original March dates.
