Zurich Opera House equipped with Riedel comms

The flexible installation combines Riedel's Artist digital matrix intercom and Performer partyline technology.

The flexible installation combines Riedel’s Artist digital matrix intercom and Performer partyline technology. At the heart of the fit-out at Zurich Opera House is a Riedel Artist 64 digital matrix intercom system, with a total of 11 Artist 1000 control panels in use.

A C44 Performer digital partyline system interface provides the seamless integration of 10 Performer beltpacks.

Elfried Roller, chief technician – lighting at the Opera House, commented: “For our communications infrastructure we needed an installation that we could absolutely rely on in terms of stability and flexibility. Our solution with Artist and Performer provides a versatile system that can be adapted to the specific demands of every production.”

A Riedel RiFace offers the seamless integration of professional mobile radio transceivers into the wired intercom installation. A specifically installed computer with the Riedel Director software allows for fast programming of the comms infrastructure via drag and drop.
