With Jung you have the Facility

Jung has transformed its Facility Pilot touchscreen control unit into an ultra-funky accessory with the launch of its new Flat Panel PC range.

Jung has updated both the appearance and the software behind its Facility Pilot touchscreen controllers to give the specifier a range of stylish options and to enhance functionality with the new Flat Panel PC range.

The fanless PC unit sits slightly proud of the wall and has an integral heat sync unit in place of a fan to ensure silent operation with no irritating whirring or humming. Now available in three screen sizes – 10in (25.4cm) 15in (38.1cm ) or 19in (48.3cm) – all have an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a resistive surface. The Facility Pilot range also comes with a choice of high-quality glass frame – white, black or aluminium – to allow complete co-ordination with the design style of the room.

Explains Barry Bilclough from Jung UK: “Even though the Facility Pilot is essentially a functional product, we understand that aesthetics are important to the end user and should therefore be built into the product with a range of options to suit different tastes. Now, specifiers can choose whether to make the Facility Pilot blend into the background or stand out as a design feature, always in complete confidence that it will offer the ultimate in user control of the intelligent KNX building controls.”

Alongside the aesthetic enhancements to the Facility Pilot, Jung has also updated its functionality. The units now come with pre-installed video phone software for easy integration of the Jung door entry system and users can control individual functions, control complete rooms or retrieve energy consumption values quickly and simply using the hard-wearing touch screen.
