Following a first phase of work earlier in the year, VSI recently extended the original TOA VX2000 stadium system to more than 300 speakers in order to incorporate the newly constructed lounge and hospitality boxes, plus the revamped offices.
The main technical requirement was that the system met .5 of the STIPA speech transmission index. Further alterations to the existing system were undertaken to incorporate the new Trivision LED screens located at the River Taff end of the ground. Baldwin Boxall disabled refuge and disabled alarm systems were also installed.
