The May introduction of the R4i will be marked by the launch of a Limited Edition model finished in a sparkling graphite high gloss lacquer with silver hue grilles.
All R4 models are now being manufactured to R4i specification and come in Rich Walnut real wood veneer, high gloss Midnight Black, and Dream White finishes.
System improvements evident in the R4i include: a ‘superior’ FM/DAB/DAB+ receiver with greater sensitivity on all bands as well as the ability to receive higher definition DAB+ transmissions; revised audio circuitry optimisation for greater clarity; a new CD suspension arrangement for improved tracking and shock-resistance; and an upgraded/redesigned power supply that ‘meets and exceeds’ forthcoming EU standby regulations.
Designed to produce ‘stunning room-filling sound’, the R4i features a multi format CD player, iPod dock, USB playback port, DAB/DAB+/FM tuner and auxiliary inputs, aligned to an 80W audiophile-grade amplifier and speaker system.
