Integrated Systems Events, organisers of Integrated Systems Europe, the Digital Signage Summit Series has installed a brand new new video wall in its Munich HQ to help turn its lunch room into a more collaborative space for staff and visitors.
The new video wall features four Mitsubishi 55″ displays, which have been mounted using Peerless AV’s quick release ‘Supreme’ (DS-VW775-QR) video wall mounts.
“The video wall is installed in our lunch room which doubles up as an extra meeting space,” commented Mike Blackman, managing director, ISE. “It gives us more flexibility for presentations, and we’ll be incorporating other AV solutions to increase the collaboration potential for the space.”
He continued: “Serviceability was a key requirement for this in-wall install as we needed to be able to take them out for future inspection and service. The Peerless-AV quick release mounts were a great fit for their gentle push/pull feature giving quick access to the recessed displays. Our installation team found them easy to handle, position and align to achieve a professional finish.”
Incorporating tool-less lateral micro-adjustment, the DS-VW775-QR provides 38mm (1.5″) of fine tune adjustment on each of the X, Y and Z axis. Its press to release pop-out feature provides quick and convenient access to a recessed display without searching for hidden pull strings, and it comes with reusable display-dedicated wall plate spacers for both portrait and landscape applications.
Weighing 2kg lighter than previous Peerless-AV video wall mounts, the DS-VW775-QR facilitates an “effortless” one-person install, especially when combined with the install app and spacers. Using the easy hang keyhole adaptor plate, a single installer can simply hook the mount onto the wall so their hands are free to secure it.
