Vestel Visual Solutions has announced the successful integration of its interactive display technologies at Bolton School, one of the UK’s most esteemed educational institutions. This technology upgrade, incorporating 85 x 75in 4K UHD interactive screens across 60 classrooms, underlines the potential of Vestel products to revolutionise digital education across schools, colleges, and universities nationwide.
Bolton School, celebrated for its rich 500-year history and commitment to academic excellence, recognised the need to modernise its outdated audio visual equipment. Faced with ineffective old whiteboards and projectors, the school sought an innovative solution to enhance classroom engagement and streamline the teaching process. The goal was clear: fostering a dynamic, interactive learning environment leveraging technological advancements.
The school partnered with CCS Media, a trusted IT supplier, to find a display solution that combined high visual performance, comprehensive interactive teaching features and renowned long-term reliability while remaining highly cost-effective within the school’s budget for the project.
CCS Media recommended Vestel for its proven track record and exceptional product performance. Vestel’s extensive manufacturing capabilities ensure high-quality displays at competitive prices, making it the ideal choice for educational institutions.
Vestel’s UK team, led by Chris Moore, B2B sales manager, collaborated closely with Bolton School to deliver a fully tailored solution. The team provided a demo unit for teaching staff to explore, comprehensive training, and ongoing support during and after the installation to ensure a seamless transition to the new technology with minimum disruption to the day-to-day education of the students.
Key highlights of the Vestel IFD75 interactive screens for the Bolton School project included seamless device integration with existing digital technologies such as streaming to the student’s school-supplied iPads, multi-touch functionality to support collaborative learning and exceptional visual clarity in 4K UHD resolution to engage students throughout the large classrooms.
Bolton School, CCS Media, and Vestel have all hailed Bolton School’s digital transformation through interactive screens as an outstanding success, with the school scheduling further interactive screen expansion in other learning facilities across its campus.
“The Vestel interactive screens have exceeded our expectations, bringing a new level of engagement and simplicity to our classrooms,” said Darren Tickle, ICT manager at Bolton School. “We are excited to continue this technological upgrade across our school to benefit all our students and teachers.”
Vestel’s Chris Moore added: “The installation of Vestel interactive screens at Bolton School has been a resounding success. The project was completed with minimal disruption, and the impact on the education environment was immediately evident. Teachers now have powerful new tools to enhance their teaching methods, and students are more engaged in learning.”
Bolton School plans to expand the installation to additional corridors this autumn, further integrating this cutting-edge technology throughout the campus. The successful integration of Vestel displays marks a significant step forward in Bolton School’s commitment to delivering the best learning experience.
