True Colours, the technical AV solutions and services division of the Midwich Group, has selected and installed a bespoke Draper Access Series V projection screen at its new demonstration and training suite in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

The 4m viewing area width ceiling recessed, tab-tensioned projection screen was custom-built by Draper for dual 16:10 aspect projection purposes. The screen was installed by the True Colours technical team using a uni-strut and uni-studding onto the ceiling where it is controlled via a Draper LVC-III low voltage module and an RTI XP8 processor.
“It was clear from the outset that Draper would be the ideal choice for our bespoke projector screen requirements,” said Neil Wells, projector screen specialist at True Colours. “We are absolutely delighted with the screen and it is already being put to good use for projector shoot outs and soft edge blending demonstrations.”

“True Colours has built a fantastic facility for customers, manufacturers and end users to see audio visual technologies come to life,” said Wakeley Gage, operations manager at Draper. “Our brief was to provide a tab tensioned, ceiling recessed dual 16:10 aspect projection screen that could be operated from any terminal in the building. We are proud to be associated with the True Colours team and support this new resource for resellers and integrators.
