The habit of Art: Loewe announces new LED TV

Described as the “perfect transition to next-level entertainment”, the Art 37 is – logically enough – a 37-inch addition to Loewe’s Art LED TV range.

Described as the “perfect transition to next-level entertainment”, the Art 37 is – logically enough – a 37-inch addition to Loewe’s Art LED TV range.

The TV offers the ability to stream audio and video files stored anywhere on a home network as well as access the internet, thanks to Loewe’s new MediaNet portal. Powerline, LAN or optional WLAN with high performance antenna are said to ensure that data transmission is quick and reliable. It is also possible to view, for example, holiday photos from a PC hard disk or music videos stored on a USB stick.

In common with other models in the Art LED range, the Art 37 also includes Loewe Media Text. Among other benefits, this feature offers video on demand from the video library and is based on HbbTV technology – a Europe-wide standard that is already offered by some broadcasters in Germany. Boosting the futureproof characteristics of the product, there are also two CI+ interfaces.

As regards picture technology, the Edge LED Backlight, automatic optical picture control (OPC) and video auto-dimming (VBD+) are said to guarantee superior contrast and ‘razor-sharp’ pictures with low-level energy consumption.

Other features include: an integrated DR+ hard disk; continuous power output of 2 x 20 watts, plus 40 watts for the integrated subwoofer; Dolby Digital Plus; integrated AC3 and DTS for 5.1 sound systems; energy consumption in stand-by mode of 0.35 watt, reduced to zero when the system is not in use and the power shut-off switch is activated.

This latest addition to the Art LED range is available now in a choice of High Gloss Black, Chrome Silver or Mocha finish options.
