Heading up the system specified by TC Showtechnik’s Martin Schulze and his team was an EV XLD line array system, comprising 12 EV XLD 281 enclosures and four EV PX1122 monitors, used in conjunction with nine Dynacord V-17 bass bins and a Klark Teknik DN370 equaliser.
“The XLD is rock solid in its construction and yet very light, which is exactly what we need for winter sports events,” said Schulze. “Despite the severe weather conditions to which the equipment is invariably exposed, we have never experienced a single failure. Opting for Electro-Voice certainly makes our day-to-day work far less stressful.”
