Sony has supplied over 40 BRAVIA Professional Displays and a large-format Crystal LED (CLED) display for the new Amsterdam hub of Miro, an AI-powered visual collaboration platform with more than 60m users worldwide. The Amsterdam site will be the San Francisco-based company’s largest hub globally, housing substantial numbers of staff, including many members of its executive team.
The installation, delivered by integrator Windside Digital, is designed to enable flexible working across more than 40 meeting spaces and a communal café and event area within the 10,000sqm office.
The BRAVIA displays deployed include models from the BZ40L and BZ30L series, ranging in size from 50 to 75in. These 4K HDR screens are equipped with Pro Mode for tailored configurations and offer integration with leading conferencing platforms. A key technical feature influencing Miro’s choice was Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare (DBNG) technology, which is intended to deliver high-contrast, glare-free visuals even in bright meeting rooms with extensive glass frontage.
The centrepiece of the installation is a Sony Crystal LED display from the CH Series, configured with a Sony Flexible Stand and positioned in the office’s café and event space. The ultra-fine pixel pitch, wide colour gamut and high brightness of the CLED are designed to support large-scale presentations, live broadcasts and immersive events.
Windside Digital oversaw system design, integration and deployment. From demonstrations at ISE to on-site workshops, the installation process was tailored to align with Miro’s modular, hybrid-first approach to office design.
In daily use, the BRAVIA displays are designed to support video calls, interactive whiteboarding and real-time presentations, helping to ensure communication between Miro’s distributed teams.

Sony says that, although visual performance was the primary factor in product selection, sustainability also played a role. Sony’s professional displays include features such as automatic brightness adjustment and power-saving modes, and many models use SORPLAS recycled plastic to reduce environmental impact.
Wilco Poppelier, workplace strategy and projects at Miro, said: “The Miro office is designed to be dynamic and flexible, and Windside Digital advised us to use Sony’s BRAVIA technology as this fits all Miro requirements perfectly: non-glare, high-bright and remotely manageable. The Crystal LED installation sprang out when comparing the design of this Sony stand and the screen quality with other vendors in the market.”
Poppelier added: “At Miro, we believe that the spaces people work in should be just as innovative as the tools they use. Sony’s displays help us bring that vision to life – whether it’s connecting with colleagues worldwide or inspiring teams during live events. Knowing that the displays also support sustainable practices was a crucial benefit.”
Petra Norinder, regional trade marketing manager, Sony Europe, commented: “Miro is a company that thrives on creativity and innovation, and we are proud to support them with display solutions that reflect those values. Our close work with Windside Digital ensured that the installation matched Miro’s ambitious workplace vision. Together, we are showing how technology can create inspiring, collaborative spaces, while also contributing to smarter and more responsible operations.”
