Sony BRAVIA displays installed at 11 Stella McCartney stores

Digital integrator, Trison UK, and fashion designer Stella McCartney chose the displays to be installed in custom, flexible designs at flagship stores in major cities like London, Paris, New York and Milan

Sony has announced that its BRAVIA BZ40LBZ35L and BZ30J range of Professional Displays are being implemented across 11 of fashion designer Stella McCartney’s global flagship retail stores to digitise the store fronts and promote the Winter 2024 collection.

With each flagship store requiring a different configuration based on size and layout of the window, it was essential to Stella McCartney that they implemented a solution that could be easily installed and remain flexible to reconfigurations as and when needed.

Digital integrator, Trison UK, and Stella McCartney chose Sony’s BRAVIA Professional Displays to be installed in custom, flexible designs to suit the needs and arrangements of the flagship stores.

The deal builds on the existing partnership between Sony and Stella McCartney, that began at the beginning of 2024 where Sony BRAVIA Professional Displays were used to showcase her winter 2024 runway show during Paris Fashion Week and its sustainable manifesto for Mother Earth.

Much like the Paris Fashion Show displays, the designer wanted a mix of screen sizes to maximise impact. Sony says the BZ30J boasts 4K image quality, strong colour and contrast, and is available in a compact 32in size.

Sony believes the sustainable ethos of its brand fits in with Stella McCartney’s concerns about the environment. The 15 BRAVIA Professional Display models (including the BZ40L series), incorporate these sustainable elements, from the use of recycled SORPLAS plastic to the reduction of ink used on cartons, as well as an optional stand to reduce waste and an Eco dashboard to better understand energy consumption based on the configuration of its settings.
