SNA Displays LED wall targets Los Angeles commuters

Vertically oriented display, operated by out-of-home media company KEVANI, measures 18.7m tall by 12.2m wide and is mounted on an apartment complex facing a busy intersection in Gardena, California

SNA Displays has supplied a large-format LED video wall for the façade of Apollo South Bay Apartments in Gardena, California, in a project partnering the manufacturer with out-of-home media company KEVANI.

The display, branded Nexus, is built using SNA Displays’ EMPIRE exterior LED product at 8mm pixel pitch. Vertically oriented and cantilevered from the eight-storey residential building to improve viewing angles towards the adjacent intersection, it measures approximately 18.7m tall by 12.2m wide – resolving 2,340 x 1,520 pixels across a total area of around 228sqm. The display is positioned to capture southbound traffic on Crenshaw Boulevard and east/westbound traffic on West El Segundo Boulevard, with additional visibility towards the 105 Freeway. LED installation services were provided by YESCO.

Kevin Bartanian, CEO of KEVANI, said: “Nexus’ prime location and cutting-edge creative capabilities make it a powerful platform for brands looking to make a lasting impact in one of LA’s most dynamic locales.”

Craig Sholder, west coast sales director at SNA Displays, added: “The exceptional clarity and scale that Nexus offers is a huge benefit for advertisers. Large-format LED video technology is the perfect medium to tell dynamic stories to the thousands of visitors, commuters, and local residents who will see this media platform every day.”
