Designed to highlight various artistic and architectural features of the church, and complement its many and varied performances, the lighting specification includes a host of SGM equipment, specifically 24 Palco 5s, one Ribalta, 38 Genio Mobiles, four Giotto Wash 400 moving head units and a Pilot 3000 console, deployed to programme and control all lights.
With equipment provided via SGM dealer Volume Srl, the completed lighting installation is said to minimise energy consumption and operation costs.
In other news, SGM showcased a number of new and well-established products at PLASA 08. Items on display included the Giotto DIGITAL 1500, a moving head fixture for the projection of digital graphic effects.
