SGM, Avolites to exhibit new products at ABTT Theatre Show

The 2010 ABTT Theatre Show will take place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 16-17 June.

The 2010 ABTT Theatre Show will take place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 16-17 June. The subject of a pre-registration total at least 20% higher than in previous years, the show will again play host to companies covering the full spectrum of products for the theatre production and staging market.

Lighting is set to be well represented with new/recent launches from Avolites (white Expert Titan with Touch Wing and the Pearl Tiger Touch), MA Lighting (MA2 Light and Ultralight) and SGM (new fixtures including the Ribalta Full Color and Idea Moving Led 100/300 moving heads (pictured)). First-time exhibitor London Light Production Services will highlight its full offer to the theatre and events industry, while LEE Filters will showcase its new Urban Effects Filters. Meanwhile, Rosco will highlight its colour filter range along with its wide selection of glass and metal gobos, motion effects units and iPro image projector.

Elsewhere on the showfloor, there will be a strong presence by companies whose products have relevance to theatre staging. Trekwerk will present its 3D TNM Software and SynchroPoint, which have been tried and tested by the National Theatre, while Lift Turn Move will present its extensive range of lifting and rigging equipment.

Also in the staging/lifting sector, ShowTex will introduce its new curtain track motor with DMX compatibility; Mayr Transmissions will highlight products from its range of safety brakes, torque limiters and shaft couplings; Rope Assemblies will premiere the new Twist and Double Nut Maillon Rapides; and Stage Track Engineering Services will show its new Easy Track and Easy Track Lite systems.

Audio will also be well represented, with Lab.gruppen, Nexo and Roland UK all making their ABTT Theatre Show debuts this year. d&b, Sound Technology, Alcons Audio, Autograph, Duran Audio, Opus Audio, Fuzion, Allen & Heath, Yamaha and HD Pro Audio have also taken space at the 2010 event.

ABTT show director Roger Fox told IE: “Our pre-registration numbers have been growing for several years and I am convinced that we would have achieved a record attendance in 2009 had it not been for the Tube strike. The 2010 numbers are well ahead again. I think that both visitors and exhibitors enjoy the interaction that a niche market exhibition such as ours brings. They like to meet manufacturers face to face.”

Pre-registration is now available at the event website (link below).
