Salzbrenner Stagetec renews German theatre’s audio

Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup is providing the theatre in Münster with a new audio console and monitoring system.

Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup is providing the theatre in Münster with a new audio console and monitoring system. The audio upgrade – part of a wider summer renewal of the theatre’s technical systems – is due for completion by the middle of this month.

The contract awarded to Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup includes the replacement of a 13-year-old Cantus desk with a 48-fader/128-input Aurus console, along with new processor, interface and microphone cards for the existing Nexus network. The company is also undertaking an upgrade of the Nexus software.

The sound control room is being installed with a new Klein + Hummel monitoring system (seven 0110s and one 0810), while the stage and orchestra pit are to be equipped with Aviom personal mixing technology.

Hermann Quetting, marketing manager of Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup, told IE: “The Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup covers a huge spectrum of applications and provides tailored solutions for almost any requirement – within and outside Europe. Our increasing markets are the Asia-Pacific region, China, Russia and the US.

“With our offices and distribution partners we are able to run a lot of projects all over the world, for example, the Convention Centre in Tashkent, the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Olympic Games in Beijing, events like the ESPN 16th Summer X Games, and a lot of worldwide broadcast and television projects.”
