Salus extends S Series with RF programmable thermostat

Salus goes wireless with introduction of new thermostat that can be placed anywhere in the home.

Salus Controls has extended its S Series range of thermostatic controls with the introduction of a wireless digital programmable thermostat – ST620RF – that enables the thermostat to be placed almost anywhere in the house.

A two-unit system comprising a control centre and receiver, this model combines the functions of both a room thermostat and a heating control and operates via volt-free intelligent communications technology. It is an ideal solution for new build properties or those where the current thermostat is in an undesirable location.

Unlike standard programmers, the ST620RF works by controlling the temperature according to a series of programmed settings that take effect at different times of the day. While the receiver is used for wiring connections and heat on/off control, the control centre provides the user interface and temperature sensing control. The two units are linked by a radio frequency (RF) signal.

Featuring the S Series touch ring technology, the ST620RF is simple to use with a large, touch-sensitive dial that scrolls to a variety of installation and user options and a large easy to read LCD with white back light.
