The new equipment will be used in the centre’s live room and for future shows outside the Academy. In addition, Nicholas has recommended the deployment of RSS Sonar software for PC-based recording and archiving, and plans to establish Digital Snake links to the Academy’s six practice rooms.
“Paul Nicholson has given us a great tutorial on using the Roland M-400 V-Mixer, and has promised to be our direct contact for future audio software and hardware,” commented Sussex Academy of Music MD Ben Stringer. “We have just run a festival using the desk and we rate it incredibly highly. Paul provided us with Midas ProSound and Roland merchandise that set the main stage off perfectly. The entire experience with Roland and Midas ProSound has been enjoyable, professional and I expect a very good future relationship between our three companies.”
