Reflex’s tenth Technology Day showcases new solutions

Architects are invited to Reflex’s TDay13 event which will showcase the latest AV technologies and solutions.

Architects are invited to Reflex’s TDay13 event which will showcase the latest AV technologies and solutions. Reflex has released details of this year’s Technology Day, TDay13. 2013 will be a special year as it is the tenth anniversary of the integrator’s annual event. Over the last decade it has become firmly established as a crucial source of information and learning for all AV professionals. The theme for 2013 is Autos and AV – with the event taking place at the prestigious Audi Quattro Rooms in Brentford, chosen because of the critical importance of technological advances to the automotive industry. Doors open on 22 October, between 8.30am and 3.00pm, and the event is open to anyone with a commercial interest in audio visual technology and a thirst for new information. One of the popular aspects of Reflex’s Technology Days is always the seminars and live announcements. This year’s programme covers subjects such as using the laws of physics to overcome audio challenges, collaboration using Microsoft Lync and the new generation of live video production. Click here for the full programme. The Five Minutes of Fame stage will cover subjects including 4k/UHD, creating brilliant video wall content and the countdown to the audio channel switchover. A large format display ‘event within an event’, Big Just Got Bigger, will feature the only prototype of Samsung’s huge 95-inch display – the first opportunity for a UK audience to see this product. The brand new NEC V801, 80-inch LED screen will also make an appearance. The Technology Day is Reflex’s main event for showcasing AV technologies and solutions. Roland Dreesden, Reflex’s MD, strongly believes that part of the role of an AV integrator is to inform users about emerging technologies. “Our Technology Day is important for keeping users updated about the business benefits of new technologies. It also provides a rare opportunity to talk directly to all the top manufacturers under one roof. And this year’s exhibition will be the largest ever with 40 manufacturers represented over two floors.” As well as the stunning technology on show, visitors will have the opportunity to see some amazing cars including the Audi Le Mans and the historic first Rally Quattro. www.reflex.co.uk
