Integrator Khaldi Est selected RCF column arrays and amplifiers as part of the technical fit-out at the new Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) building in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.
As part of its complete A/V design, supply and integration brief, Khaldi Est specified RCF systems, having used the brand for numerous projects over the past seven years.
Designed to suit 850 people, the auditorium incorporates gender-specific areas: a ground level for men only, and an upper balcony for the sole use of women. Part of the A/V system design was to link the main auditorium with the Ministerial office (and other meeting rooms) within the building facility via LAN.
For the core of the speaker system, Khaldi Est selected RCF L2406 full-range, compact two-way speaker column arrays, complemented by an S4012 subwoofer. Providing the power are RCF’s HC2000 (2x 1000W Class H) and HC1600 (2 x 800W Class H) amplifiers, while system optimisation is provided by an RCF DX4008 4-in/8 out digital loudspeaker management system.
Khaldi Est also supplied and fitted an RCF FORUM 2000 simultaneous translation system encompassing an interpreter console, headphones, receivers and more.
Polycom teleconferencing systems and Crestron technology for master control were other integral aspects of the MOHE installation, which also enables live digital recording.
