QSC Audio for fashionable Amsterdam restaurant

Having originally considered a distributed ceiling speaker system, Merk Lighting’s owner, Milco Merk, ultimately opted to use QSC Audio AcousticDesign AD-S52 and AD-S32 surface-mount loudspeakers for most areas of the venue. AD-C42Ts, AD-Ci52Ts and AD-Si52TSs have been specified for the lobby, toilets and fire evacuation system, while three WideLine GP212-sw ground-support subwoofers provide low-end reinforcement at the rear of the venue.

The restaurant and the adjacent hotel also make use of two QSC NAC-100 network audio touch screen controllers, a pair of QSC BASIS 914lz DSP processing devices and QSC CX-254 amplifiers.

“Milco is a great guy,” said Yossi Eliyahoo. “He has supported us a lot more than we could reasonably have expected, and the quality of the sound system is excellent.”

The QSC equipment was supplied by the manufacturer’s Benelux distributor, AED.
