Public unveiling of world’s first large screen OLED display

The world's first large screen OLED display has been unveiled at a new research facility at Merck, Germany.

The 3.8m x 2.3m Diamond Vision OLED screen from Mitsubishi Electric at a new research facility opened by Merck in Germany (first reported by IE here) has been publicly unveiled. The new screen is being used to welcome visitors to the centre, as a presentation aid, and as a backdrop to events hosted at the Darmstadt facility. Mitsubishi Electric and Merck are working closely together to develop the next generation of OLED compounds for use in display products.
