Prolight + Sound 2013: Philips Showline unveils powerful LED luminaires

Philips Entertainment lighting's newly launched brand Philips Showline is demonstrating the capbailities of its new LED luminaire product range at this year's Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt.

Philips Entertainment lighting’s recently-launched brand Philips Showline is exhibiting five of its powerful new luminaires at this year’s Prolight + Sound, as well as the SL Nitro 510 – a powerful new LED strobe luminaire. The vibrant range includes Philips Showline’s 4ft SL BAR 640 and 6ft SL BAR 660 linear wash luminaires. Both of which can be used as a wash or a direct-view linear bar. Elsewhere on the company’s stand is the SL BAR 520 – a 2ft RGBW linear wash luminaire that produces over 8000 lumens of output with six standard 8º lenses. In addition, high-resolution pixel mapping control and a unqiue locking system allows for quick connecting of multiple units both vertically and horizontally. Also on the stand is the SL PAR 150 ZOOM – an LED Par with a manually adjustable beam angle of 15º-70º and utilising nine homogenised RGBW LEDs to produce over 3200 lumens of output. It features a dual-purpose yoke that can be used to hang the fixture or as a floor stand. Launching at Prolight + Sound 2013, is the extra rugged, compact, 4-in-1 RGBW LED SL BAND 310, which offers 2400 lumens of output and 23º beam angle.
