No, that’s not a typo – PROCISE is Crestron’s new professional audio processing product line and is designed to create a “completely immersive” audio experience.

No, that’s not a typo – PROCISE is Crestron’s new professional audio processing product line and is designed to create a “completely immersive” audio experience.

The PSPHD high-definition 7.3 surround sound audio processor is designed for both commercial and residential applications. The specification includes: three independent subwoofer ouputs; automatic room calibration; an integrated HDMI switch with HDCP support, ensuring compatibility with DRM-protected content and equipment; a front panel with vintage-style VU metres and spectrum analysis; and support for the latest lossless audio formats via Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1. Set-up, control and monitoring are accessed via the front panel or Crestron PROCISE Tools software; front panel controls can be locked to prevent unauthorised access.

The companion PROAMP amplifiers (PROAMP-7X400 or PROAMP-7X250 ) are precision-matched to the PSPHD in form and performance. Using a simple Ethernet connection, the PSPHD processor and PROAMP amplifier automatically pair, enabling seamless control and monitoring of the amplifier through the PSPHD front panel.

“With PROCISE, we’ve created another landmark achievement in engineering and design,” said Robin van Meeuwen, managing director of Crestron UK. “PROCISE can adjust the settings for each speaker to perfection. You hear pure and balanced sound in every seat. It doesn’t matter if you’re in an acoustically-treated room or not.”
