The hifi, audio and video technology manufacturer will be appearing on stand 11K29 at ISE 2010. Specific products in the spotlight will include the modular SPA22 integrated AV controller (pictured) and SP32 multichannel preamplifier with its matching A30.7 UFPD Class D amplifier.

According to Primare, the new modular structure allows for upgradable video, DSP and communication boards to simply locate and connect with its analogue architecture, thereby ensuring that the models “keep pace with technological advances while retaining our world-famous fidelity”.

The new five-channel SPA22 and seven-channel A30.7 feature multiple channels of newly developed UFPD (Ultra Fast Power Device) amplification. UFPD technology uses a purified Class D/switch-mode design exclusive to Primare and, says the manufacturer, delivers a natural dynamic quality of sound across the entire audible spectrum while saving around 70% of the energy used to power a conventional amp of similar specification.

Primare has also announced an HD audio upgrade for the SPA22/SP32, providing a host of new features including individual HD format settings such as Multi-PCM, improved/extended trigger options, easy lip sync access using the underscore button, and an improved layout of the on-screen menus and display.

Sales & marketing manager Siemen Algra told IE Residential: “ISE is now a big European show, the only Europe-wide showcase for CI, so it’s a great opportunity to demonstrate the virtues of your new products to custom installers from all the major markets and the little ones too.”
