The ability to stream music from a wide variety of sources and wireless control capabilities are among the features of the new compact, all-in-one Sonos PLAY:3.
The specification includes: streaming from popular services and stations, as well as playback from the user’s own digital music collection; easy expandability to other rooms with the addition of other PLAY:3s; wireless control capability via the free Sonos Controller Apps for Android, iPhone and iPad; free Sonos Controller for Mac or PC; three integrated speakers and three dedicated Class D digital amplifiers that deliver ‘crystal clear, wall-to-wall’ sound; volume and mute control; and dimensions of 5.2 x 10.5 x 6.3 in. (132 x 268 x 160 mm)/ 5.7 lb (2.6 kg).

In other news, Sonos has reduced the suggested retail price of BRIDGE and introduced an update to Sonos software, v3.5, that adds support for PLAY:3 as well as several improvements to the Sonos controller for Android.
