Polar Audio has unveiled a number of new brands with UK first availability at this year’s PLASA show, showcasing new products from AD-Systems, WyreStorm and Behringer EUROCOM. Also on show is the new CUSTOM ONE PRO a customisable headphone from beyerdynamic, new speaker ranges from Australian Monitor and Renkus-Heinz, in addition to products from, ASL, Aviom Digital, beyerdynamic, Biamp, MC2 and XTA.
AD-Systems is launching the new Impulse NT-4 system amplifier at PLASA, comprising ground-breaking DSP, control and matrix opportunities including remote options via iPad, iPhone or laptop and featuring the AVB protocol.
Behringer EUROCOM is a range of commercial and installed audio products developed and manufactured by Behringer, a MUSIC Group brand. EUROCOM products span from utility integrated amplifiers to digital automixers, DSP powered and Ethernet controlled power amplifiers and almost 30 different models of loudspeakers from in-ceiling to front-of-house configurations. Designed to work together, the EUROCOM product range allows integrators to deploy systems in a variety of applications.
WyreStorm is focused on the development and manufacture of HD distribution products. It designs and develops innovative solutions to suit the growing number of residential and commercial applications including, digital signage, custom install, conference and boardrooms, retail, sports bars and financial centres, in addition to super yacht and luxury dwelling installations. Its product range includes HD and HDMI matrix switchers, splitters and extenders and HDMI converters and testers. All WyreStorm Matrix products have full integration with market leading control systems.
Also new on the Polar stand is the CUSTOM ONE PRO is a professional headphone for studio and home applications. It features customisable sound, accessories and cable (CUSTOM sound, CUSTOM style and the CUSTOM cable).
A key feature of this headphone is the CUSTOM Sound Slider, which allows the user to select from four different audio profiles via adjustable bass reflex vents in the housing shells. The profiles range in style from analytical to heavy bass, depending on the user’s requirements. The “CUSTOM Sound Slider” feature also allows the user to control the amount of ambient noise attenuation, depending on the setting.
Meanwhile, Australian Monitor has unveiled its new TXG range of installation speakers. TXG is a range of wall-mount speakers with 100V line transformers and a low impedance bypass. All speakers boast impressive audio quality, stylish looks, brackets are included and the range is available in black or white options. Also introduced at the show will be the first of the XDS wooden speaker range, the XRS6ODV outdoor speakers and the GetOut USB audio interface.
Renkus-Heinz is exhibiting the Varia Modular Point Source Array, the new RH Signature range plus IC2, the world’s first cross over array. Varia’s modular approach allows cabinets to be easily configured as ground stacked systems or flown as vertical or horizontal arrays, with a wide range of coverage angles available thanks to thetransitional waveguides. The RH Signature range features two and three-way enclosures designed for professional audio applications.
