Nureva supplies over 400 audio systems to Spanish university

Universidad Europea private university has standardised on company’s conferencing systems across classrooms, auditoriums and meeting spaces on its campuses to support hybrid learning

Nureva has announced that Universidad Europea, a private university with campuses across Spain, has deployed more than 400 of its audio conferencing systems across its estate, standardising on the technology to support hybrid and HyFlex learning.

The deployment spans classrooms, auditoriums and meeting spaces, with the university’s AV/IT team managing the fleet remotely via Nureva Console, which the company says enables system monitoring and one-touch software updates at scale. Many of the systems have been in daily use since 2020, with the university reporting minimal performance issues and no support inquiries over that period.

Nureva’s systems are designed to integrate with the university’s existing technology ecosystem, including interactive displays and PTZ cameras. The university says each unit can be installed in as little as 10 minutes, with automatic calibration on completion.

Daniel Milner Resel, chief digital officer at Universidad Europea, said: “We have hundreds of spaces including auditoriums, classrooms and meeting spaces. Nureva is the brand that covers all these situations with the same technology. My team loves the simplicity – instructors can focus on teaching instead of troubleshooting, and with high-quality audio, students get a consistent experience whether they’re in the room or online.”

David Lozada, systems coordinator – HyFlex/audiovisuales at Universidad Europea, added: “One of the biggest advantages is how easy the systems are to install and configure. Each unit can be installed in as little as 10 minutes and calibration is automatic. After that, they simply work.”

Nancy Knowlton, CEO at Nureva, added: “Universidad Europea’s broad deployment of our audio systems demonstrates the value of providing a consistent and adaptable audio platform across a range of learning and collaboration spaces. We’re proud to support their hybrid learning model with solutions that are easy to deploy, simple to manage and designed to perform reliably over time.”
