New Casio projectors from Midwich

Casio's latest projectors, which continue the company's pioneering of laser and LED illumination, will be distributed by Midwich.

Midwich will be distributing Casio’s two new WXGA projectors when they are released in June.

The XJ-H2600 and the XJ-H2650, with a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens, will be the latest addition to Casio’s line-up of projectors featuring a mercury-free light source with a 20,000-hour lifespan.

Casio pioneered the production of the first projector to use the lamp-free laser and LED hybrid light source in April 2010, achieving high brightness performance without the use of a high-pressure mercury lamp. Casio’s laser and LED technology claims a light source life of 20,000 hours, which reduces maintenance and cuts operating costs, while achieving maximum brightness in as little as five seconds from start-up.

According to Midwich, the powerful output and consistent image of the XJ-H2600 and the XJ-H2650, together with added connectivity, make them well-suited for projecting to larger audiences. The new projectors will come with added features including customised logo at start-up, security function to prevent unauthorised access, energy-saving intelligent brightness control and 3D projection function.
