In other news, the home technology division of Midwich (general sales manager Lee Hooker pictured) has been appointed to serve as a UK distributor for Epson’s premium home theatre projectors.
Hot on the heels of being appointed exclusive UK distributor for The AVC Group, MidwichHome exhibited products from across the brand portfolio at CEDIA HTE recently. ELAN Home Systems introduced its Killer Combo control solution – which combines the HR2 multimedia-and-home-control remote with the new HC4 four sub-system Home Controller into one affordably-priced package – and announced the UK availability of the ELAN g! Series Home Control System with built-in multi-language support. Niles Audio introduced the third generation of the DS Directed Soundfield Ceiling-Mount loudspeaker line and the new ICS Ceiling Mount Loudspeaker line-up, while Xantec debuted its Quick Configuration software installation/configuration mode for its MX88 IP-enabled multi-zone audio/video controller. New developments from ATON and Sunfire were also showcased.

Meanwhile, in a further significant announcement affecting the company’s distribution portfolio, MidwichHome has become a UK distributor for Epson’s premium home theatre projectors. Epson models distributed by MidwichHome include the EH-TW5500, the EH-TW4400 and the EH-TW3600.
The new association was highlighted by Epson and MidwichHome throughout the recent CEDIA HTE event.
