Assurance, tax and transaction service provider Ernst & Young has revamped the reception of its flagship UK office with a large multimedia wall featuring Christie MicroTiles.
The More London Place facility – situated in Southwark – is home to 5,500 Ernst & Young employees. The overhaul of the reception is the first major upgrade since the company moved into the building seven years ago.
As part of the redesign, the firm has installed a large multimedia wall, blending LED panels from Ignition LED and 160 of Christie’s MicroTiles, to broadcast a diverse range of content designed to appeal to their visitors.
A Hippotiser LED controller, AMX overall controller, Saturn ConnectVision Content Scheduler and Biamp Nexia digital signal processor were also involved in the installation, which was carried out by Saville AV and Christie.

Our new reception will improve the experience visitors have on entering the building and really demonstrate the global strengths of our business.”
Throughout the planning and construction of the reception, the firm sought to minimise the environmental impact of the project by prioritising sustainability.
Sam Burns, Ernst & Young’s marketing director, UK & Ireland, remarked: “For the multimedia screen, for example, we have invested in award-winning technology that is low in energy consumption.
“Reusing and recycling furniture, technology and materials from the original reception area was key to maintaining the project’s sustainability credentials. We have also been working with two UK-based artists with respect to re-using or recycling the metal cladding from the original reception area, and have donated the reception sofas to local schools, charities and not-for- profit organisations as nominated by our people.”
