The specification for the new MAC III Profile includes colour mixing with a broader colour range, and deeper, more vibrant hues; a “fat beam look with great beam definition”; up to 75% more output than current 1,200W profile fixtures; and new gobos.
On a characteristically busy PLASA stand, Martin Professional also drew attention to, among other products, the MAC 2000 Wash XB, said to be 40% brighter than its near-namesake; EvenLED, a panel of high-powered 6W RGB LEDs used to back-project an even field of light over a projection surface; Exterior 200 LED, a programmable luminaire offering full RGB plus amber and white colour mixing; the Extube Series of linear LED luminaires designed for dynamic illumination of facades, bridges and structures; and Maxxyz Compact, a mid-sized addition to the Maxxyz controller range.
