Martin Professional has launched the VC Series of creative LED video, which are said by the company to be the first true video products to combine a new level of simplicity with a high level of quality.
Part of the series is formed by the VC-Grid 25, a small, 200 x 200 mm LED video module with a 25 mm pixel pitch.
Useful in creating customised LED video solutions with maximum artistic flexibility and a minimum of effort, the VC-Grid 25’s compact size is claimed to make it extremely suitable for integration into stage designs, set elements, creative ceilings, lobbies and more. Used with or without a front diffuser, multiple VC-Grids can be combined in a variety of ways. A combined power/data cable allows VC-Grids to be daisy-chained for easy setup and less cabling.
Compatibility with Martin’s P3 System Controller family provides image processing capabilities with easy setup and configuration. Instead of relying on DMX, Martin says that the P3 system allows for true video control, eliminating complicated setups involving DMX pixelmapping, loose power supplies, tons of cabling and time-consuming addressing procedures.
The VC-Grid 25 is supported by the P3 PowerPort 1500, an integrated power and data processor with flexible installation options. A single P3 PowerPort 1500 supports all products in a simple daisy-chain of hybrid cable.
Custom designs of the VC-Grid 25 – with different pixel pitch and module dimensions – are available on request.
