Martin Audio OmniLine helps transform Bar Cubo

The Martin Audio solution was selected to enhance audio at the bar, which has been revived through its new beach-front plot.

Bar Cubo in the Bulgarian seaside resort of Varna, recently installed a Martin Audio sound reinforcement system centred on the OmniLine range as part of the venue’s transition into a beach-side establishment

Having undergone a complete transformation from a marquee venue, the bar now stands as a hacienda-style bar and haven for true fans of non-commercial nu-jazz, funk and soul rhythm.

Erected in less than a day, the new stage incorporates a Martin Audio OmniLine micro line array, which was installed by local integrator Imperia AV.

The system has been complemented with a further four new OmniLine elements, to cover the expansion of the club — complete with its new terraces; this is driven by Martin Audio MA2.8Q, MA1.3S and MA4.2 amplifiers, along with dedicated DX1.5 system controller, while sub-bass extension is provided by two low-frequency Blackline S18+ units.

Daniel Dragoev, co-owner of Bar Cubo, explained: “Following our successful long-standing cooperation with the local Martin Audio distributors, they didn’t even have to present the software simulation for the new speaker configuration this time around. Based on our previous experience we were certain of achieving the optimal result.”

World famous artists such as DJ ALA and Aaron Dae have already performed at Cubo, as have DJ Ilko, DJ Marten, DJ George Quest, DJ Hot Topp and Crazy P, as well as the legendary John Morales (Studio 54).
