The BluTech Vision Interactive player is described as “the perfect addition to any home entertainment system”. Offering a load time of only 14 seconds, the BluTech Vision Interactive is available in chrome silver or black, and features a minimalistic front cover concealing a control panel and disc tray.
Other features include the absence of ventilation grill in order to reduce noise, the ability to operate other Loewe products with the Assist remote control, and integrated Digital Link HD for operation even when the player is concealed from view.
The player also comes with a 1GB internal flash memory and BD-Live, enabling the download of additional content for the inserted disc, including trailers, documentaries and commentaries.
Loewe’s MD, Kevin Kelly, told IE Residential: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our second-generation Blu-ray player: the Loewe BluTech Vision Interactive. Blu-ray is growing steadily – approximately 15,000 units were sold in the UK to early adopters in 2007. This figure rose to 250,000 units in 2008, a clear signal that the technology is becoming more widely recognised. While we are confident that Blu-ray will continue to play a role, we are committed to giving the customer a choice to select whatever best suits their needs whether that be Blu-ray or DVD.”
