The installed system consists of nine dV-DOSC and three dV-SUB cabinets per side, driven and protected by six L-Acoustics LA8 amplified controllers. In addition, L-Acoustics 112P and 108P self-powered coaxial enclosures have been provided for mobile monitoring and fill applications, as required.
"I was very impressed by the professionalism of ELIT's crew and by the quality of integration in this project," commented C_dric Montr_zor, technical support engineer for L-Acoustics. "Our combined engineering and electro-acoustics predictions resulted in a perfectly-dimensioned system for the venue. Tuning such a well-designed system was a real pleasure!"
The project also makes use of L-Acoustics' L-NET networking technology and the LA Network Manager software, which provides network control and monitoring for the amplified controllers from a PC.
"The LA Network Manager allows the CRR engineers to easily choose different contours and equalisations and memorise these system set-ups like snapshots," added Montr_zor. "Using the WiFi capability, the system parameters can be recalled and allow the system settings to be adjusted for a corporate situation to a live concert of pop music at a moment's notice."
