LEA Professional amplifiers form the backbone of the audio system at Punta Minitas Villa, a 19,000sqft residence within the large luxury community village Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. The property combines expansive indoor – outdoor living with a technology infrastructure built to remain unobtrusive while delivering reliable performance across every zone.
Local integrator Musitempo created a fully networked smart‑villa ecosystem covering automation, distributed audio and home entertainment.
Audio is distributed throughout the villa’s living areas, spa, gym, cigar lounge and private rooms, with landscape loudspeakers extending coverage into the gardens and poolside spaces. Musitempo selected LEA amplifiers to power the system, using their DSP, monitoring and zone‑management capabilities to tune each area according to its application.
Connect Series 168 and Connect Series 354 amplifiers drive the villa’s loudspeakers. The IoT‑enabled CS168 provides 160 watts per channel, while the CS354 delivers 350 watts per channel. Both support Hi‑Z and Lo‑Z operation on a per‑channel basis, simplifying installation and reducing equipment requirements. The Connect Series also incorporates 96kHz DSP, offering enhanced processing flexibility for residential environments.
Fernando Hernandez Voigt, chief technology officer, Musitempo, said: “This project was approached with a ‘technology disappears’ philosophy. Every system was engineered to deliver uncompromising performance while remaining visually discreet and effortless to use.”
LEA Cloud adds remote control and monitoring without subscription fees, allowing Musitempo to oversee system performance from anywhere.
Voigt added: “Punta Minitas Villa stands as a benchmark for modern Caribbean luxury living, where technology enhances lifestyle without ever becoming intrusive. LEA amplifiers play a significant role in the experience.”
