Kinetik has expanded its range of residential custom install speakers with the introduction of the new KISP-E200-LP in-ceiling speaker.
The 200mm (8in) E Series model is said to have the same smooth mid and high range response as the ever-popular KISP-E160-LP. However, due to having a Polypropylene speaker cone that is 40mm wider than its counterpart, the bass response has been enhanced by Kinetik Labs audio engineers. The centralised pivoting silk dome tweeter also allows the end-user (or installer), to direct sound to the necessary areas – providing the ideal solution for various surround sound setups.
The speaker, which is available in the UK through AWE Europe, is suitable for delivery of dynamic sound across a huge variety of music, from a full orchestral performance to fast-paced dance beats.
“With so much competition in the speaker marketplace, we have had to continuously strive to improve upon sound quality and response, while maintaining a competitive price point for installers,” commented Stuart Tickle, managing director of Kinetik Labs and AWE.
As well as the stunning audio performance, the KISP-E200-LP features enhanced aesthetics with an attractive ultra-low profile circular grille, which attaches magnetically for easy installation. For an alternative look, square grilles are also available for all E160-LP and E200-LP Kinetik models.
Alongside speakers, Kinetik Labs incorporates a range of installer-friendly IR kits, cables and versatile brackets for screen mounting.
