K-array’s Firenze systems were deployed across two main stage areas at Gymreapers Wodapalooza 2026, a fitness festival held on Miami Beach that attracted more than 40,000 attendees and 2,000 athletes over four days.
Production company Maxon Productions selected the Firenze systems for the event in January, which featured elite competitions, live workouts, DJ sets and seminars across a multi-zone outdoor layout. Each system comprised six Firenze-KH8 mid-high loudspeakers and six Firenze-KS8 subwoofers.
The open-air beachfront environment presented challenges including high ambient noise from crowds and wind, humidity and salt air exposure, and the need for consistent coverage across large, distributed audience areas. The systems are designed to deliver controlled dispersion and clear speech intelligibility, with the KS8 subwoofers providing low-frequency reinforcement during DJ sets while maintaining vocal clarity.
The company says the Firenze systems’ compact form factor allowed for quick setup and adjustment throughout the event schedule, with the systems operating continuously across the four days without interruption.
