The desk – which was supplied by Stage Electrics – was selected to meet the requirements for a future-proof system with a lengthy lifespan. MA UK provided thorough on-site training once the console was delivered.
Fixtures under the control of the MA2 include a large generic lighting rig consisting of PARs and ETC, Strand and Selecon luminaires, along with Martin moving lights, 20 Chroma-Q scrollers, and a selection of smoke and haze machines.
Francklin noted: “The grandMA2 light offers all the options we need. The programming of moving lights is incredibly simple once the desk is set-up, and even those with basic knowledge can easily get their heads around it and start learning.”
