James Bond expo powered by Mitsubishi

With 50 vehicles on display, Bond In Motion is the largest official collection of original Bond vehicles the world has ever seen. The show, located at Beaulieu's National Motor Museum, will run until December 2012.

Marking 50 years of James Bond on the big screen, the Bond In Motion exhibition brings together a unique collection of 50 vehicles seen in Bond movies down the years. Integrator DJ Willrich was responsible for equipping the new James Bond exhibition with six Mitsubishi WD3300U projectors, which combine to help recreate memorable moments from the film in an immersive display.

Alongside Bond’s iconic Aston Martin DB5 and Lotus Esprit S1, is Goldfinger’s 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III, Bond’s autogyro from You Only Live Twice and a collection of trikes, bikes, cars, sleds and boats. Also on show is the Aston Martin DBS stunt car featured in Casino Royale.

The Mitsubishi WD3300U projectors form part of the climax to Beaulieu’s Bond In Motion exhibition, which runs until December 2012. Two 9m x 3m three-projector edge-blended panoramic screens set some of the best-known Bond cars into their cinematic context, combining video, sound and special effects to help recreate key moments from the films. Content, specially edited by DJ Willrich, is delivered by Iztech Video Boxes. DJ Willrich also provided the lighting, sound system and show programming.
